3D Texture Artist

Job Description

We at Beast Burst Entertainment are looking for a 3D Texturing Artist with experience texturing 3D models for characters, props and environments.

You will work closely with the 3D teams to produce textures for the characters, weapons, armor, creatures and environmental pieces they will create. You will join a team of experienced 2D artists who will provide you with excellent concept art that you can use as a reference.

Skills and Requirements

• Texture 3D models in a way and style that matches our current game aesthetic.
• Maintain a high quality standard for the active ingredients produced.
• Ensure that the final result meets the artistic requirements of the project in terms of detail, technique and stylization.
• Stick to the concept art provided by the 2D artistic team and translate it into a 3D model in an accurate and equivalent way.
• Fixed issues and optimized textures.
• Constant coordination between 2D and 3D artists.
• Occasionally document the process so that other artists have a guideline to follow.

Requirements

• Skilled artist with extensive knowledge of light theory, perspective and anatomy.
• 2+ years of experience as a Texture Artist.
• Mastery of Substance Painter and Photoshop.
• Experience in handling Blender and ZBrush 3D software.
