    We needed talented concept artists who had a passion for character design. He will work on a wide variety of exciting titles ranging from realistic to stylized art in a variety of upcoming AAA video game titles. No formal training is required, but an eye-catching portfolio is a must. We are looking for personalities that fit our culture of innovative creativity and collaborative problem solving.

    We are very interested to see the initial ideas and sketches, as well as the quality of your final rendering. The ability to bring character and personality to your designs is a must for this role, so include your most creative pieces in your portfolio to show us what you can do.

    Skills and Responsibilities

    • Quality at all stages of the process: creating well-defined and well-presented works of art, from sketch to final polish. You can visit our website.
    • Design thinking: creative problem solving through innovative design, balancing form and function,
    • Technical proficiency: Proficiency in Photoshop and understanding of complementary software and tools,
    • 3D skills: Knowledge of using 3D software such as Core, Mudbox, Blender, 3DsMax, Z-Brush and Maya,
    • Art Fundamentals: A solid understanding of color, light, composition, anatomy, perspective, and depth.
    • Variety and Iteration – The ability to provide multiple creative options and then iterate as projects progress.
    • Adaptability: rapid and continuous change to new requirements and processes when necessary,
    • Work from a brief: Realize creative briefs, and then consider things like context, deadlines, and creative constraints when solving tasks.
    • Time management: creating quality work on time,
    • Collaboration: Responsive to receiving feedback and working with teammates and clients.

    Here we produce the very best in cutting-edge creative conceptualization, visualization and execution. Our client list includes big names: Warner Bros, Sony, Microsoft, SEGA, Activision, 2K, EPIC, The Pokémon Company and Blizzard are all here. And we love variety. Each project is different from the previous one. The spectrum spans the raw and hard-hitting Mortal Kombat, the irreverent and stylized Surgeon Simulator 2, comic book superheroes, nostalgic childhood favorites and everything in between. Whatever franchise is on today’s agenda – DC, Halo, Marvel, Mortal Kombat and Warhammer – we move through their worlds with ease and creative curiosity.

    The work produced by our team is world class. We celebrated this fact in three art books. Each includes concept art, tutorials, and pro tips. Volume 3 was created to mark the studio’s 10th anniversary and was exhibited and sold at the Great North Museum: Hancock in Newcastle, where we curated the Other Worlds: The Art of Atomhawk exhibition in 2020.
