We needed a Lead Game Designer to join our team. This role is integral to the successful development of “Mavia” and will provide the opportunity to shape a groundbreaking mobile game from its earliest days.
In this role, you will
- Drive the development of game systems, mechanics and features that align with our vision of an innovative mobile strategy game for base builders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including art, programming, and production, to ensure a unified vision and high-quality player experience.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers, fostering an environment of learning and growth.
- Constantly evaluate and modify game features, maintaining a player-centric design process.
- Bring fresh and innovative ideas to the table, pushing the boundaries of the strategy game genre.

Skills and Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of experience as a game designer, with a focus on mobile games.
- Proven track record of designing successful strategy games, ideally base building games.
- Proficiency in modern game design tools and software.
- Exceptional creative and technical writing skills.
- Excellent understanding of game balance, pacing and player behavior.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a remote work environment.
Desired Degrees
- Experience leading a design team in a fully remote environment.
- Proven ability to drive a game from concept to launch.
- Deep passion and knowledge of strategy games, with an understanding of what makes a game engaging and successful.
- An avant-garde mindset, with a desire to explore new concepts and push the limits.
