    Position Details

    What will you do:

    • Oversee the development of high quality AAA visual effects
    • Create and maintain a thriving artistic culture within the team
    • Collaborate with production to prioritize and coordinate team tasks to ensure deliverables are completed on time
    • Collaborate with other managers, directors and cross-functional teams to advance project quality
    • Provide constructive feedback, mentor and coach a team of VFX artists


    What you will bring:

    Finds team accomplishments motivating and can oversee a team of like-minded people who provide feedback and support when needed. As an artist, you share our enthusiasm for film and the gaming industry and are motivated by the possibility of taking it to the next level. Your experience in large productions and leading a team allows you to solve problems on the job and organize an efficient workflow. You have excellent communication skills in English (our corporate language) which, combined with your proactive approach, allow you to establish a relationship of trust with your team and the various stakeholders with whom you will collaborate along the way.

    In addition to the above, we are looking for someone aligned with our core values and with the following skills and experience:

    • Several years of experience in visual effects and technical art for console and PC games (ideally with at least one AAA title delivered)
    • Experience as a mentor/lead/manager or equivalent
    • Skills of particle systems, shaders and procedural animation
    • Understanding of node-based tools/engines and/or programming/scripting
    • Expert with VFX editors and real-time particle systems
    • Skills of Maya, 3DSMAX and/or other commercial 3D authoring packages
    • Knowledge with Houdini is a bonus
    • Experience as an animator, modeler and/or texture artist is a plus
    • Additional experience in the film or similar industry is considered an advantage
    • Experience in outsourcing and co-development is a plus
