This work is responsible for inspiring and influencing the creative direction of the company. The incumbent will drive the creative output of the creative design studio by overseeing the creative team and processes; conceptualize, present and execute marketing communications and client branding campaigns; the creative quality of client projects and the operational availability of the creative team. Responsible for building a culture and team that delivers on our brand promise to our customers, which is a partnership with a best-in-class design team that inspires the creative direction of the business, has deep knowledge business and focuses on business needs. Will also apply state-of-the-art design principles to meet customer needs, provide top-notch customer services, and deliver operational efficiency and a high quality work product.
Main Responsibilities
Assume management responsibilities to include, but not limited to:
Plans, organizes, staffs, directs and controls the daily operations of the department; Acts as a significant contributor to the strategic and creative development of corporate/business unit marketing and branding efforts. Collaborates and contributes to the creative process as a leader of a creative team and as a member of the corporate management team. Strong business knowledge. Focused on business needs. Provides top notch customer service. Sets expectations and standards (creates culture) for the creative team. Coaches and inspires staff creatively. Study the creative market. Provides operational efficiency and a high quality work product. Works closely with communication services business partners. Ensure brand compliance.

- Required degree – Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communication or a related field
- Replacements – 6 years of related and progressive experience in lieu of a degree
Experiences
Minimum of 5 years in an agency or corporate graphics department as a senior graphic designer/team lead
To Understand:
- 2 years as a Graphic Design/Art Direction hands-on, working directly with a Senior Graphic Designer/Art Director or Creative Director, delegating tasks to the team, developing and coaching the creative team, creating and managing visual guidelines for the brand and coordination of design standards the appearance of all print and electronic materials such as print, digital and other requirements , oversee the production of unique and multi-faceted projects from concept to completion
- 4 years as graphic designer sr/art director sr/team leader in an agency or a corporate graphic department
- Preferred – 10 years executing and managing graphic projects in an advertising agency
