Senior Brand Illustrator

If you are a highly motivated and experienced brand-focused illustrator, come work with us to create something amazing.

We are looking for someone to create unique artwork and oversee external artwork to set the highest standards for our brand through a variety of new media products including (but not including limit) convention scenes, print resources, web resources, apparel, collectibles. , and more.

Responsibilities:

• Create artwork for Diablo patches, covers, and key art
• Create artist-grade key art production paintings
• Ability to explore a wide variety of ideas that promote the Diablo brand
• Motivation and desire to solve problems with art directors
• Organize and develop the illustration library for all our partners
• Communicate with production, art, and other departments as needed to obtain accurate creative briefs for the work you are producing.
• Regularly check and align with the Art Director on the quality of work in development

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience creating artwork for animation, film, or games (this could be video games, maps, paintings, etc.)
• Painting that demonstrates a wide range of techniques from classical to stylized that shows a deep understanding of composition, color theory, and storytelling
• A thorough understanding of 2D art software
• Knowledge of 3d and game engines is a plus
• Thorough understanding of Diablo’s visual style
