Sr. 3D Character Game Artist

Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for creating high quality character and material models using 3D modeling, texturing, mapping and other techniques based on given concepts.
• Collaborate with animators and crew members to create art-standard 3D sculptures and assets.
• Understand project design requirements, conceptualize creative ideas and apply texture to the model using various approaches including hand painting.
• Oversee and optimize implementation of layout, environment and interactive objects including models, textures and shaders.
• Actively follow projects by researching, discussing, giving feedback, coaching, proposing quality improvements and optimizing work processes.
• Ensure all designs meet design requirements for technical and artistic purposes by fixing issues, correcting your designs based on feedback and feedback.

Requirements:

• Certificate, associate’s degree, or bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field;
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a 3D character artist with a strong portfolio of past work and completed projects.
• Understand and have experience in stylized art with a strong working knowledge of industry standard software including Maya, Blender, Substance Painter, and Unity, and a willingness to keep up to date with the latest creative software and hardware.
• Responsible for product design and testing, from concept to production.
• An excellent eye for creativity, artistic skills such as composition, texture, color, lighting,…
• Ability to collaborate, communicate, interpret, coach, work independently with excellent time management and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of biological anatomy, media illustration is a plus.
