LUMBERJVCK: CALL ME

LUMBERJVCK builds “CALL ME” by placing a Swedish reggaeton vocal inside a UKG-inspired bass track and letting that displacement define the song. The vocal arrives from one musical context while the track gives it another identity, making the reworking itself the central move rather than a detail around the arrangement.

That shift keeps the focus on the meeting between the vocal and the bass-driven framework. LUMBERJVCK does not present the source material unchanged but places it inside a different rhythmic language, where its phrasing can take on another function.

“CALL ME” begins from that act of relocation. A voice crosses into a new setting, and the track builds from what happens after it gets there.
