Aimé Leon Dore and The North Face introduce their second Fall Winter 2026 capsule
Aimé Leon Dore and The North Face return for Fall/Winter 2026 with the second chapter of their collaboration, continuing the exchange between ALD’s refined New York wardrobe and The North Face’s outdoor heritage. The capsule builds on the visual language established by the first release, with technical outerwear, layered styling and archival references presented through a more polished fashion context. The collection launches on September 17 at 11 AM ET through Aimé Leon Dore and at its flagship stores.
The campaign imagery places the collection between alpine performance and city dressing, with outerwear remaining the central focus. Puffer jackets, technical shells, fleece layers and utility-driven pieces are styled alongside tailored trousers, shirts, ties and understated accessories, creating a contrast between rugged outdoor fabrics and ALD’s more formal approach to everyday dressing. The palette moves through olive, black, deep green, burgundy and vivid orange, reinforcing the connection to classic outdoor gear while keeping the overall presentation controlled and contemporary.

Several looks lean into recognizable The North Face codes through insulated silhouettes, high collars, technical layering and functional proportions, while Aimé Leon Dore introduces a more composed styling language around them. In the campaign, padded jackets are worn with caps, knitwear and relaxed tailoring rather than full technical outfits, making the garments feel closer to a seasonal urban wardrobe than dedicated mountain equipment. This balance between performance and refinement remains the defining point of the collaboration.

The collection also continues the shared interest in heritage and longevity that shaped the brands’ first partnership in 2025. The North Face contributes a technical foundation built around outdoor functionality, while Aimé Leon Dore filters those references through its established interest in classic American sportswear, uniform dressing and material-led styling. The result is a capsule that does not attempt to disguise its outdoor origins, but instead places them within a more considered fashion context. The first Aimé Leon Dore and The North Face collaboration launched in September 2025, making FW26 a continuation rather than a one-off project.

What stands out most in the FW26 imagery is the way the collaboration avoids overcomplicating familiar silhouettes. Instead of relying on excessive branding or exaggerated shapes, the focus remains on layering, proportion and texture, allowing technical fabrics and recognizable outerwear forms to carry the collection. The more formal styling around these pieces gives the capsule a distinct ALD character while keeping The North Face’s functional identity visible throughout. The Aimé Leon Dore / The North Face FW26 Capsule Collection releases Thursday, September 17 at 11 AM ET on Aimé Leon Dore’s website and at Aimé Leon Dore flagship stores
