Brian Ullman’s “Airplane” places an indie singer-songwriter track inside the movement toward a larger project, following “Indian Girl” as part of the forthcoming Exit to Yesterday. With no further description of the song itself, the title becomes the clearest image available: an airplane suggests departure, distance, or a change of place, while the project title looks backward.
Released on October 2, 2026, “Airplane” arrives as Ullman’s second single from the upcoming record, keeping the sequence moving from August’s “Indian Girl” toward Exit to Yesterday. The two titles already create a small geography of their own, one grounded in a place and the other in motion, with the destination still ahead. For now, “Airplane” stands as another piece of the route toward Exit to Yesterday. The next stop is still somewhere in front of it.
