ARMNHMR and OAKS’s “Falling” keeps its dance-pop shape close to the floor, with a steady four-to-the-floor kick carrying the track while the percussion adds small changes around it. The snare lands on the second and fourth beats, hi-hats run through quick sixteenth notes, and the bass moves with the kick, giving the groove a constant pulse.
The synth motif repeats through the verses, the short decay and light chorus keeps the sound running. The chorus opens the arrangement with a broader saw-tooth pad, while the filter follows the chord progression and gives the section more space. A bright arpeggio adds detail above the rhythm, with the warmer sub layer keeping the lower end in place.
The track stays between the clean shape of dance pop and the tighter programming of club music. The kick and bass keep the movement simple, while the synths add enough detail to fill the spaces around them. “Falling” keeps that balance from the first beat to the last.
