MedsE, Thomas Helmich: Bite Me

MedsE, Thomas Helmich: Bite Me

MedsE and Thomas Helmich’s “Bite Me” brings melodic techno and electro house together, pairing a polished club sound with glitchy details. The track began with an idea from Helmich that needed more in its break and drop. MedsE added vocal ideas, sound design and production touches, giving the original sketch a different character.

The collaboration grew through that exchange, with each producer bringing a different approach to the track. Helmich’s club-focused production gives it a firm base, while MedsE adds playful electronic details that break up the cleaner arrangement. Neither approach takes over completely. The track draws its character from the way those elements work together.

The mosquito concept behind “Bite Me” carries the playful side of the release into its artwork and promotional material. The title fits a collaboration that grew from a missing piece into a shared track, with both producers leaving their mark on the final version. There is no follow-up planned yet, but the two are open to working together again.
