Tony Thames: Bad Photo

Tony Thames: Bad Photo

Tony Thames´s “Bad Photo” questions the habit of treating every flaw as something that needs fixing. The idea breds down to a familiar moment: seeing a picture of yourself and wishing it looked different. Sometimes the face you reject is the one someone else wants to keep.
Between self-criticism and affection, the song has its central idea. The bad photo might catch an awkward expression, a strange angle, or a version of yourself that does not match the image you want to project. None of that means there is something wrong with the person in the picture. Tony Thames asks for stop chasing after perfection and give more room to be yourself. A bad photo can stay bad by your own standards. Someone else might still love it.
