rgb: NO MORE RUNNIN

rgb’s “NO MORE RUNNIN” circles around a decision to leave someone behind, with the repeated hook sounding more like an attempt to convince oneself than a final word. The chopped vocal phrases and layered synths give the track a loose, hazy feel, while the beat keeps pulling it forward. “I ain’t coming back” is the line that holds it together.

The lyrics keep slipping out of reach. “I hate you. I love you” cuts through the repeated refusals, suggesting that leaving doesn’t mean the feelings have gone away. Other fragments are harder to make out, but the refrain stays clear: no more running back, no more rushing toward the same situation. The repetition makes the decision sound like something the narrator has to keep saying. There’s a difference between walking away and being over someone. rgb stays with that first step, caught between the urge to return and the need to stop. The hook keeps coming back, as if the decision still needs repeating.
