Tapeworms’ “Playground” is a kaleidoscopic approach through nostalgia, escapism, and the boundless creativity of childhood. Inspired by the French Touch sound, sugary bitpop with glitchy experiments by artists like Tujiko Noriko and OliXL, the track celebrates the joy of facing risks and crafting fantastical worlds. “Playground” is a deeply melancholic sonic palette, like a sunlit picnic in the park that never ends.
