Alexandre and Maxence Roche, twin brothers from Le Puy-en-Velay, have established themselves as visionary interior designers and creators of exceptional furniture pieces. One of their most striking creations, the Arès armchair from the “Ice Memory” collection, exemplifies their bold yet balanced aesthetic. Inspired by the strength and structure of metal armor, the chair channels the formidable presence of a warrior. Its name, drawn from the Greek god of war, underscores its masculine, commanding aura.
Yet, despite its raw, assertive form, the delicate curvature of Arès design introduces a sense of harmony, softening its powerful presence. This interplay of strength and subtlety encapsulates the Roche brothers’ signature approach—where nature’s austerity meets the elegance of contemporary artistry.
