Arp Frique´s “Look Up Johnny”, featuring the legendary Dennis Bovell, is a celebration of funk, disco, and gospel. Blending these genres, they create a sound that’s as infectious as it is soulful. Organic instrumentation, obscure synths, and irresistible grooves make the song to feel nostalgic and forward-thinking, defying easy categorization. The song is built on a foundation of bubbly basslines and swirling guitars, creating a groove that’s impossible to resist.
