Irish Basement´s “Pretty Embarrassing” is a candid alt-pop song about nostalgia, self-awareness, and the quiet comedy of modern habits. With lyrics that feel like a diary entry read out loud, the track captures the bittersweet tension between comfort and cringe, obsession and routine. Exploring how we cling to the past and romanticize it, despite knowing time doesn’t rewind: “you want it to be like it used to / but time don’t move backwards like that.”
