Greg Hoy’s “Last Quarter” is like a journal of reflection and resolve. It’s an intimate trade of grand gestures for quiet truths, guided by steady, organic instrumentation that mirrors the calm clarity of late-life perspective. The song’s real power lies in its focus on intangible inheritance: compassion, resilience, creativity, and the courage to live with emotional openness, leaning into the possibility of what remains—how intentional love can echo far beyond our own timeline.
