“Drinking Up Christmas” is a holiday party that’s already gone delightfully off the rails. Ralph Champagne Revue taps into that sweet spot where festive cheer meets rock-and-roll mischief, and with Dexter Holland of The Offspring stepping up to the mic, the track immediately takes on an irreverent, melodic punch. Behind the beat, Josh Freese, the drumming weapon behind Devo, NIN, A Perfect Circle, and Foo Fighters, drives the whole thing with precision, personality, and just the right touch of anarchy. “Drinking Up Christmas” is a Christmas song that winks, raises a glass, and keeps the night going long after the decorations start to blur.
