- Tell us about the idea and inspiration behind your new single ‘Fire’ with blackwave.?
We wanted to bring a positive message, a boost of self-esteem and confidence. So the ‘fire’ in the song is the power in your life to go for something.
We wanted that to be reflected in the music too, have a fiery and energetic song that makes you want to jump.
– Name 3 other artists you’d like to collaborate with, and why?
Musically, Chemical Brothers and Gorillaz were both influences on the track, because these artists often blend electronic and rock sounds with rap verses.
I think Damon Albarn is a really cool guy and he’s probably a great collaborator (if a bit grumpy)
-What are your upcoming plans for the rest of the year?
Aside from the Red Bull Soundclash where we will compete against blackwave. in a crazy musical battle, we also have our own clubtour in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxemburg.
There’s also a gig that we are hosting where we invite a few friends. It’s called ‘Radio 1 sessions’ and will be live broadcasted on the station. So quite a busy end of the year!
We’re taking a little break in the beginning of 2025.
