CoMotion stands as the pinnacle of student-led motion graphics conferences, annually converging top industry professionals with Motion Media Design students at the esteemed Savannah College of Art and Design.
This year, CoMotion’s brand identity emanates a profound homage to the omnipotent influence of nature upon artistic expression. It delves into a design vernacular meticulously crafted from the raw elements of our natural world. At the forefront of this year’s conference stood a mesmerizing title sequence, meticulously designed and executed by a dedicated team of 40 students, among whom Kyle Switzer and Muskaan Sethi were honored to lead.
In their relentless pursuit of beauty, they often confine their gaze to nature’s superficial allure, captivated by its vibrant hues and picturesque landscapes. Yet, beneath this kaleidoscope of colors lies a profound and intricate design system waiting to be unraveled. By peeling back the layers of color, they unveil the systematic elegance inherent in nature’s blueprint. From the genesis of life itself, the intricate strands composing the web of existence intricately intertwine within a grand design system—the very essence of nature’s symphony.
This year’s CoMotion transcends mere artistic expression; it serves as a poignant reminder of the profound interconnectedness between nature and creativity.
