Draga & Aurel Tinted Hues Collection for Nilufar
Draga & Aurel are unveiling an exclusive new project for Nilufar at the Milanese gallery on Via della Spiga. The project, titled “Tinted Hues”, is an exploration of materials—particularly epoxy resin and Lucite—and their interactions with light and color.
The project features handmade collectors’ items characterized by smooth forms and subtle hues. The combination of pastel colors and opal inserts creates evocative and almost spellbinding nuances. This year, new exclusive products for Nilufar, including the Glaze table, Dewdrops coffee table, and Puffed pouf, are showcased alongside selected art design objects from the Candy Box and Space Couture collections in new color variations.
GLAZE Table Collection
The Glaze collection introduces a new family of dining and coffee tables crafted from Lucite using innovative experimental techniques. The round shapes are animated by the juxtaposition of pastel colors and milky streaks, skillfully blended to produce a mesmerizing visual shaded effect. The unique processing ensures that the objects appear different when light reflects off them.

DEWDROPS Coffee Table
The Dewdrops collection consists of modular coffee tables that resemble pure, simple drops of dew. These tables spark the imagination and encourage playful combinations of multiple pieces to create endless new compositions. A metal base supports a drop of transparent colored resin, achieving a glossy and impalpable “blown” aesthetic.

PUFFED Pouf
The Puffed collection features monochrome poufs that are both fun and extremely comfortable. The simple and linear mushroom shape is enhanced by the combination of materials, finishes, and textures, nodding to the work of Jeff Koons. The base is treated with a special varnish and holds a comfortable foam seat with knitted stretch velvet upholstery, making the piece both seductive and playful.

An impressive artistic backdrop, designed specifically for the exhibition spaces on Via della Spiga, alternates layered brushstrokes with an eclectic collage. The use of cool colors—blue, lilac, and green—on the Lucite creates an overall effect of depth and three-dimensionality. This backdrop serves not as mere decoration but as a bold manifesto of creativity and imagination.
