Emina Sonnad´s “Sad Man” depicts a tumultuous and painful relationship. One person is deeply hurt and regrets their involvement, feeling the other is self-absorbed and emotionally harmful. She sublimates manipulation, unmet expectations, and a sense of being used by the other person in the relationship with a relaxing cadence.
