Featuring: Kris Vango.

Kris Vango treats sound as a system of orientation, a way to locate the self between the physical and the imagined. The project moves through electronic composition, field recordings, and binaural textures, but its real subject is control, how to navigate cycles without being absorbed by them. Under the name Kris Vango, Kristen Howard builds a language where synthesis and ritual coexist, where travel becomes both method and material, and where each piece functions less as a track than as a fragment of a larger map.

Abyss Shopping

“Abyss Shopping” is consumption turned inward, a track that frames grief as a loop of acquisition without object. The origin is specific, Thailand, humidity, the aftermath of a father’s death, but the music does not narrate that loss, it processes it through repetition and drift. The idea of “shopping for the abyss” sets the axis, desire without a clear target, movement without resolution, a need that keeps generating itself.

CVNTY

Kris Vango’s “CVNTY” reduces language to a single sensation, heat, repeated until it detaches from description and becomes environment. The word functions less as imagery and more as pressure, something that builds through insistence rather than development. Within a minimal electronic framework, the track strips away narrative, leaving only rhythm, texture, and the physical suggestion of intensity.
