TERRESTRE – Nostalgia of a Landscape
Second piece of the collection « Nostalgia of a Landscape » by Gaspard Graulich, Terrestre is a bench that aims to express the importance of the whereabouts. Made out of brass with a textured ceramic sandstone seating surface, it creates focus not on comfort but on the feeling of where and more importantly in front of what you sit. By bringing inside this feeling of the outside, this bench you sit on seeks to reveal the memory of a landscape you once contemplated.
