Their unique approach and dedication to craftsmanship earned them international recognition when they won Best Commercial Animation at a prestigious festival. The award highlighted their distinctive style, where their animations were not digitally rendered but meticulously brought to life with real objects and physical techniques.
The COVID-19 pandemic marked a turning point for Get It Studio. With their projects temporarily on hold, Sandra and Alexandre used the time to pivot toward mastering 3D artistry. A course at the School of Motion became a transformative experience, equipping them with the skills to bring their real-world expertise in filming, lighting, and composition into the digital realm.
This seamless integration of traditional cinematic principles with cutting-edge technology enabled them to create visually authentic and emotionally resonant work. With over two decades of experience in design, they approach CGI as a means to amplify their artistic vision rather than an end in itself.
Their repertoire spans commercial and artistic ventures, reflecting their passion for both disciplines. In 2022, their artistic journey took a significant leap forward during an art residency in Tokyo, which profoundly influenced their creative voice. This experience culminated in their first solo exhibition at Ultra Super New Gallery in 2023, an opportunity to connect directly with audiences and share their evolving narrative.
