Goosebumps develops 3D cinematic worlds for Nuxe summer campaign

Commissioned by Marianne Agency, Goosebumps crafted a digital trilogy for Nuxe that positions the brand’s icons within cinematic universes built entirely in CGI.

The project translates product essence into narrative, generating a dialogue between texture, light, and temporal rhythm. Every element was designed with procedural tools inside Houdini, allowing the visuals to feel organic yet meticulously choreographed.

This approach elevates product communication into an atmospheric journey, where matter itself becomes storytelling.

At the heart of the campaign lies an intention to transform perception of everyday rituals. Goosebumps did not simply animate objects; instead, they constructed environments that amplify the character of each formula.

Light gradients, particle flows, and fluid simulations were manipulated to achieve a visual resonance between product performance and emotional response.

Through complex rendering pipelines and high-definition texturing, the outcome delivers an experience closer to digital poetry than conventional advertisement.

The first chapter, Nuxiurance, unfolds within a Parisian park rendered as an almost metaphysical stage. Here, the product rotates slowly as the sky cycles through an accelerated passage of time.

Day collapses into night, constellations scatter across the sky, and shadows stretch with cinematic depth.

This temporal choreography elevates the bottle into a quiet axis, suggesting timelessness and a contemplative rhythm aligned with the product’s restorative qualities.

Nuxe Sun develops into a more abstract simulation, where digital textures radiate like solar flares. The sequence avoids literal representation, focusing instead on refracted surfaces that pulse with intensity.

By echoing the feel of the sun without reproducing its image, the design maintains abstraction while still evoking warmth, light, and radiant skin. The controlled chaos of simulated energy particles achieves a balance between tactile sensation and visual energy.

Closing the trilogy, Huile Prodigieuse takes form through liquid simulations that construct the product from its own essence. Droplets assemble, spread, and reform in sequences that suggest both scientific precision and natural flow.

The composition emphasizes fluidity as a metaphor for nourishment and application, allowing audiences to perceive tactility even in a digital space. The material logic of the simulation reinforces the sensorial qualities of the oil itself.

Together, the three stories achieve continuity through technical mastery while offering distinct narrative layers. Goosebumps demonstrate how CGI, when driven by texture and rhythm, can extend a brand’s voice into territories usually reserved for cinematic experimentation.

The campaign reveals how beauty products can be communicated beyond surface aesthetics, articulated instead through time, matter, and atmosphere.
