“My work portrays honesty and simplicity through the American West, depicting adventure, independence, hardship, and trust, making my art practice therapeutic and introspective,” Booth explains. “Over time, my artwork has evolved from simply depicting these themes to paying tribute to the individuals I paint. My appreciation for ranching and cowboy culture grows with each photograph my wife and I take for reference. I show them respect when I’m with them and when I depict them on canvas.”
