Justin John Scheck´s “The Sea Is Red” is a meditation on the human condition while confronting personal fears and vulnerabilities. He composed a portrait of isolation and existential longing, also despair and introspection carried by waves of emotion. Sublimating the confrontation with the spectres of death, despair and grappling with the futility of existence. Yet, amidst the darkness, he brings a glimmer of hope, connection and solace in the face of despair.
