JVG designs abstract CGI film The Kenz Vault for Galaxy Kenz chocolate
The Kenz Vault by JVG presents Galaxy Kenz hazelnut chocolate through a digital film that treats confectionery as a sculptural object.
Commissioned by Code 8 Studio for the centenary Mars brand, the director’s cut builds an abstract sequence where light and form emphasize the chocolate’s refined qualities.
The piece was produced for the Middle East market and positions Galaxy Kenz as a product of indulgence expressed through controlled simplicity.
Madrid-based JVG, led by founder J. Vallejo, carried out the production entirely in-house, reinforcing the studio’s reputation for high-level 3D and CGI work.
The film focuses on atmosphere and detail, using transitions and fluid textures to evoke the sensation of melting chocolate.
Each frame is designed to suggest smoothness and clarity while keeping the visual language understated.

The abstract narrative moves through expanding shapes and dissolving surfaces, referencing both the texture of chocolate and the rhythm of consumption.
Geometric compositions frame the Galaxy Kenz bar as a central object, while light plays across surfaces to highlight richness without overstatement.
The overall effect creates a sense of indulgence that avoids excess, presenting chocolate as both everyday and elevated.

The Kenz Vault emphasizes JVG’s approach to storytelling through design. Rather than relying on literal representation, the studio interprets taste and texture through motion, composition, and materiality.
This gives the film a timeless quality, allowing it to function as both an advertisement and a visual artwork.

By placing Galaxy Kenz within a sculptural digital environment, the film reflects broader trends in luxury branding, where products are framed as cultural symbols.
For Mars’ centenary, the work reinforces Galaxy’s identity as a premium chocolate, presenting it in a language that resonates with contemporary visual culture.
