“Reimagine” is a kinetic sculpture that explores the transference of energy through the interplay of movement and light. Developed as a collaboration between Molten Immersive Art and MKT Engineering this conceptual sculpture consists of 200 highly polished cylinders, kinetic lighting and incorporates projection and audio design. By precisely controlling the height of each cylinder the sculpture is able to gracefully morph into several forms representing different states of energy. Kinetic lighting that moves independently through the sculpture creates dramatic shadows and caustic reflections for each state.
