OFFF Barcelona celebrates 25 Years of creativity, digital Art, and innovation

OFFF Barcelona celebrates its 25th anniversary from May 8-10, 2025, at Disseny Hub

A Festival at the Forefront of Creativity

OFFF Barcelona is set to mark its 25th anniversary with an edition that promises to be its most ambitious yet. From May 8 to 10, the festival will once again take over the Disseny Hub Barcelona, bringing together leading voices from the worlds of creativity, digital art, and design. What began in 2001 as a pioneering event has since become a global benchmark, shaping the future of creative industries and showcasing innovative talents.

A Stellar Lineup of Speakers and Events

This special edition will feature an impressive roster of 70 speakers, including renowned names such as Anna Ginsburg, Boldtron, DixonBaxi, Ines Alpha, Marina Willer, Marshmallow Laser Feast, Mat Voyce, Niceaunties, and Paul Trillo. The program will include conferences, masterclasses, workshops, and exhibitions, alongside the debut of ‘OFFF a la ciutat,’ a new initiative designed to connect the festival with the broader public through free-access cultural activities across Barcelona.

Strengthening the Connection with the City

With ‘OFFF a la ciutat,’ the festival expands beyond its venue, offering creative experiences open to the public. The La Plaça Design Market will showcase local and international designers in an outdoor setting, while The Screen, a mapping experience supported by BARCO, will feature an open-call showcase of digital art. Additionally, the NXT platform will highlight emerging talent from top design schools, providing students with an opportunity to present their work to a global audience.

A Bold New Brand Identity

To mark this milestone, OFFF Barcelona unveils a fresh brand identity created in collaboration with COLLINS, a New York and San Francisco-based transformation consultancy. This rebranding reflects OFFF’s evolution from a pioneering local event into a globally recognized creative hub. The new identity embodies its role as a force that both attracts and amplifies creativity, reinforcing its place at the forefront of digital innovation.

Exploring the Future of Digital Art and Design

The festival remains a key meeting point for professionals in motion graphics, branding, artificial intelligence, VR, and experiential design. Highlights include DixonBaxi’s exclusive anniversary video and Territory Studio’s showcase of their expertise in motion graphics, having worked on films like Blade Runner 2049 and Avengers: Endgame. AI will also take center stage, with Boldtron, Ines Alpha, and Niceaunties participating in a panel discussion on the evolving role of artificial intelligence in digital art.

A Hub for Learning and Professional Growth

Beyond inspiration, OFFF is dedicated to professional development. With collaborations from Adobe, Procreate, Houdini, and Maxon, attendees will gain access to live demos, hands-on workshops, and expert-led discussions. These learning opportunities ensure that the festival remains a space where creative professionals can grow and refine their craft.
