On and FKA twigs introduce the Cloudmonster 3 Mule in a Fall/Winter 2026 collection
On and FKA twigs continue their creative partnership with a Fall/Winter 2026 collection centred on recovery and restoration. Moving beyond the intensity of training, the new release introduces the Cloudmonster 3 Mule, On’s first mule silhouette, alongside apparel designed for slower moments before and after physical activity.
The collection develops an idea that has gradually become central to the collaboration between the Swiss sportswear brand and FKA twigs: movement does not end when training stops. Here, recovery becomes part of the process itself. Instead of treating rest as inactivity, On and FKA twigs approach it as a deliberate physical state, creating footwear and clothing around comfort, softness and a less structured rhythm.
At the centre is the Cloudmonster 3 Mule, a recovery-focused slip-on built with triple-layered CloudTec® cushioning. The silhouette translates the proportions of On’s performance footwear into a more relaxed form that can be worn without lacing. Its debut also marks the first time On has introduced a mule to its footwear range. Two colourways, Cacao / Espresso and Loes / Hare, reference natural pigments and earthy terrain through subdued brown and neutral tones.
That same approach continues through the clothing. Substantial cotton fabrics, soft surfaces and loose proportions replace the more technical language usually associated with performance sportswear. The Club Collective Full Zip Hoodie and Club Collective Pants form relaxed layers, while the Studio Bodysuit maintains a closer relationship with the body. Together, the pieces move between training, recovery and everyday dressing without treating those moments as completely separate categories.
FKA twigs led the creative direction for the accompanying campaign, photographed by Sharna Osborne. Drawing on the visual texture of 1990s VHS footage, the images show twigs both alone and alongside dancers. Bodies appear held in controlled, restorative positions, extending the collection’s focus on physical awareness beyond the garments themselves. The campaign uses posture and stillness as part of its visual language, contrasting the speed normally associated with athletic imagery.
The collaboration was also presented through a live somatic event at Seoul’s Oil Tank Culture Park, a former industrial oil reserve transformed into a cultural space. Led by FKA twigs, the event combined immersive visuals, natural sounds and live performance around the idea of calming the nervous system and returning attention to the body. The On and FKA twigs Fall/Winter 2026 collection launches on August 27, 2026, through on.com and selected retail partners.
