Pablo Bolivar, FERHE: Only by Firelight – Space Version

Cover artwork for Pablo Bolivar, FERHE track "Only by Firelight - Space Version".

Pablo Bolivar and FERHE give “Only by Firelight – Space Version” a sense of nocturnal movement rooted in melodic, atmospheric club music. The collaboration brings together Bolivar’s long-running work across hypnotic Techno and FERHE’s focus on atmosphere-led electronic music, sharing the deep, nocturnal industrial pulse found in Matzak: Warehouse, with the track released through FERHE’s Halo To Vibe Records. Its title suggests a place lit by very little, and the music stays within that reduced space.

Bolivar’s history gives the collaboration a clear musical foundation. Since his debut LP Anjanas in 2006, he has moved between ambient passages and more club-driven material, building a style around melody and hypnosis. FERHE approaches electronic music from a related concern with atmosphere, narrative, and movement, working across downtempo, organic house, and deep progressive. Their shared track has room for those qualities to meet without needing a vocal story—a wordless focus on groove, mood, and movement echoed in the atmospheric house production of Introducing: Phree Direxion.

“Only by Firelight – Space Version” arrives as a new version of a track built for the underground side of electronic music. The name keeps its image intact: limited light, open space, and a groove carrying the music forward—sharing an evocative interplay between darkness and glowing illumination with Acado: Las Luces.
