MAMA Projects presents the exhibition “Pathways” centered around a protagonist “her”Â
“Pathways” at MAMA Projects crafts an intricate narrative exploring the personal and collective journeys that shape individual and shared experiences. At the heart of the exhibition is a protagonist, referred to as “her,” who reflects on the multifaceted dimensions of existence. The thematic journey traverses a spectrum of human and natural qualities, delving into nature, seasons, expectations, empathy, spirituality, perception, the body, alienation, and the essence of community.
The exhibit features an eclectic mix of paintings and sculptures, each offering a unique lens through which these themes are explored. The artistic contributions of Alessandra Acierno, Laura Berger, Nicki Cherry, Stephanie Lucchese, Masha Morgunova, and Paula Querido enrich the narrative, each adding a distinctive voice to the dialogue. Through their works, the exhibition invites viewers to engage with its contemplative themes, fostering a deeper understanding of how stories—both personal and collective—are crafted and perceived.
Opening on November 21 and running until December 19, “Pathways” offers an evocative space to reflect on the interplay between individuality and interconnectedness. The exhibition’s thoughtful curation and diverse artistic expressions encourage visitors to ponder the myriad ways in which pathways, both literal and metaphorical, define the human experience.
