Sara Ricciardi: The project was suggested to me by the view of the various techniques of applying color in blown glass.
The jet of grits, whose distribution is not perfectly governed, reminded me of the mottled skins of animals. This is how a collection of bizarre vases is composed as a fauna of glass and brass: a spotted horse in racing trim and two beetles speckled with their elytrons ready for flight, all with bright colors, those that nature does not have never afraid to wear.
