In a departure from traditional inquiries, Frederik Werner, Designer & Partner at Norm Architects, shares his personal interpretation of styling Origin Made’s Spiral Sculpture in his own home – a quaint brick villa renovated to his design in 2021, located in Skovshoved, Denmark.
Frederik’s Skovshoved Residence exemplifies Norm Architects’ core principles – a harmony of Japanese aesthetics and Scandinavian materials. Exposed brick walls and wooden beams create a warm backdrop, while curated furniture and design objects add personality. Natural light streams in, highlighting textures. By integrating the Spiral Sculpture, Frederik demonstrates how simplicity and functionality elevate a home’s aesthetic and spiritual ambiance.
The Spiral Sculpture’s versatility shines as it sits on a lower platform, atop a bench corner. Against a plain wall, it becomes part of a curated vignette. Elevated on a tall pedestal, bathed in natural light, it transforms into a captivating statement piece, highlighting its form, materiality, and craftsmanship.
