SUCUX Coffee opens at Torstraße 94 in Berlin-Mitte as a new permanent project by creative studio SUCUK UND BRATWURST, with its launch coinciding with Berlin Marathon weekend. From September 25 to 27, the space will host the On x SUCUX Social Hub & Coffee Shop as part of the On LightSpray Tour Berlin, bringing together the newly opened café and a three-day programme connected to the city’s major running weekend.
Created by SUCUK UND BRATWURST, the interior translates the studio’s visual approach into a functional hospitality space where furniture, graphic elements and coffee equipment are integrated into the overall design. The service area is organised around a La Marzocco coffee machine, which becomes a visible part of the interior rather than equipment placed discreetly behind the counter. Materials, surfaces and custom elements give the café a clear identity while maintaining the practical requirements of an everyday coffee shop.
The Berlin Marathon activation introduces On into this setting without separating the temporary event from the permanent space. During the three days, SUCUX Coffee will operate as the On x SUCUX Social Hub & Coffee Shop, providing a physical meeting point around the On LightSpray Tour Berlin. The collaboration places the event directly within SUCUK UND BRATWURST’s newly established environment, connecting the studio’s creative community with the running culture that arrives in Berlin each September.
The project brings together several collaborators across its production and visual identity. SUCUK UND BRATWURST developed the spatial design and production, with event production by Tourist and Sera Ares, while Gebrueder and Daniel Belliero created the graphics and visual identity. Founded in Berlin, SUCUK UND BRATWURST works across art direction, design, moving image and spatial projects, developing a visual language closely connected to contemporary music, fashion and culture. The studio has built its practice through collaborations that move between digital imagery and physical environments, often translating graphic and image-based ideas into installations, objects and branded spaces. SUCUX Coffee extends this multidisciplinary approach into hospitality, giving the studio a permanent setting where its visual identity can be experienced through architecture, objects and everyday use.
