Troy Everett´s “back2u” dives into the internal conflict of being torn between intense feelings for someone and the realization that these feelings might not be healthy. He uses a comparison to a moth drawn to light to symbolize helplessness in the face of these emotions. He uses a trip-hop aesthetic to reflect the complex dynamics of a challenging relationship where emotions override reason and the pull of attraction is difficult to break.
