UCHE YARA: BODYSCANNER

UCHE YARA enforces a cold spatial boundary on the single “BODYSCANNER,” using a repetitive electronic loop to suspend the listener between an airport terminal and a nightclub. A spoken vocal delivery replaces traditional singing to establish an atmosphere of cool authority. Electronic textures and live drumming collide, mimicking a mechanized checkpoint rather than a standard dancefloor. This arrangement structures an environment where a detached voice guides the movement through an ambiguous, shifting terrain.

The loop balances a threatening electronic weight with a warm rhythm, allowing sampled fragments to command the body without a traditional release. A twenty-minute studio session with collaborator Alex The Flipper yielded this continuous sequence, where rhythm functions as an instrument of control. The track avoids abrupt digital shifts, opting instead for a steady pace that demands compliance. Samples enter and exit the grid to keep the repetition absolute.

This single introduces the debut album BODYSCANNER, out via goldendays FM, marking a retreat from Berlin’s hyper-stimulated club culture. By choosing physical presence over digital dopamine hits, the production aligns with an instinctual sound design. The composition leaves the listener fixed inside the mechanical cycle, refusing to resolve the underlying pattern. The machine continues to run.
