Draga & Aurel Exhibit The ZEN Collection
Draga & Aurel is a multidisciplinary art and design studio renowned for its collectible design and furnishing products. Their diverse backgrounds in art, fashion, and craftsmanship contribute to their recognition for innovative methods and an artistic approach to material and composition.
Draga & Aurel have taken their exploration of materials and transparency further with the introduction of the ZEN collection of tables and coffee tables, showcased recently at the Rossana Orlandi Gallery during Milan Design Week. These pieces are distinguished by their dizzying contours and bold geometry of intersecting planes, enhanced by a frosted satin surface treatment that gives them the appearance of ice sculptures frozen in time and space.
With an innovative color treatment, the pastel hues and fluorescent details seem trapped within the shapes, creating playful refractions that impart a sophisticated, ethereal look to each object. Part of the Transparency Matters collection, the ZEN tables are crafted entirely from Lucite. This acrylic resin is meticulously sculpted and handcrafted by Draga & Aurel with the assistance of master artisans from Como, Italy, ensuring each piece is unique.

- Dining Table: L 120 cm, W 170 cm, H 75 cm
- Coffee Tables: L 35 cm, W 35 cm, H 45 cm; L 40 cm, W 40 cm, H 55 cm; L 55 cm, W 35 cm, H 45 cm.
