“L’amour se construit” keeps its answer in the title. Love is something made through gestures, confusion, imperfection, and whatever people do with the parts they cannot explain. The broom from Ruby Cicero’s surrealist video adds its own strange image to that idea. Somewhere between the mundane and the bewildering, love gets built.
