Jerestop: El equilibrio

Jerestop: El equilibrio

Jerestop’s “El equilibrio” begins with a moment of clarity, then watches it slip away. He thinks everything is finally making sense, but that relief comes with no guarantee of lasting. The next thought is already about things beyond reach, and the mind fills up again with feelings that refuse to settle.

The lyrics move through happiness, sadness, desire, and frustration without trying to put them in order. “Cosas lindas, cosas feas / Y otras cosas también” is a plain description of that mental clutter. The repeated search for an intermediate point gives the song its direction, though the narrator cannot get any closer to finding one. “El equilibrio” keeps repeating that it cannot be found. There is no revelation or neat resolution, just the same words coming back, as if saying them might help make sense of the problem. The moment of clarity from the opening feels further away now.
