FIND Global Summit 2026 in Bangkok connects architecture culture and innovation
The FIND Global Summit 2026 will bring leading architecture and design practices to Bangkok, Thailand, from 26 to 28 November 2026. Held at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center alongside the fifth edition of FIND – Design Fair Asia, the three-day conference will welcome more than 60 speakers from 17 countries. Representatives from ZHA, Snøhetta, UNStudio, WHY Architecture, WATG and Populous will join regional designers, developers and hospitality leaders to examine how cultural identity, technological development and changing lifestyles are influencing the future of architecture and design across Asia.

Organised by Fiera Milano Asia Pacific in partnership with the Thailand Interior Designers’ Association (TIDA), the FIND Global Summit 2026 will address three principal themes: The Asian Design Authority, The New Vernacular and Asia’s Sensory Sanctuaries. Together, these subjects examine the growing international influence of Asian design, the contemporary interpretation of regional heritage and the relationship between interior architecture, hospitality and wellbeing. Discussions will consider adaptive reuse, circular materials, local craftsmanship and the integration of emerging technologies into the built environment.

The architectural programme opens with Shao-wei Huang, Associate Director and Head of ZHA’s Shenzhen office, presenting “Designing Beyond Boundaries”, a keynote addressing intelligence, human experience and the evolving possibilities of architectural practice. Richard Wood, Managing Director Asia at Snøhetta, will examine the importance of spontaneity and enjoyment in design, while Garett Hwang, Director at UNStudio, will consider the practical implications of artificial intelligence in architecture. Kulapat Yantrasast, Founder of WHY Architecture, will discuss the future of museum design, examining how cultural institutions can become more accessible and connected to public life.

Hospitality and residential design form another important part of the programme. Contributors from Marriott International, Accor, Six Senses, HBA and Aedas will investigate how evolving expectations of luxury, wellness and longevity are changing the environments people inhabit. Sessions will address the relationship between hospitality and healthcare, the influence of cultural context on international developments and the increasing application of hotel design principles to private residences. The discussions will also examine how commercial requirements, existing buildings and regional conditions influence architectural decisions.

Alongside international practices, the summit will provide a platform for Thailand’s architectural and creative community. Boonserm Premthada of Bangkok Project Studio will discuss an approach to architecture that allows nature, context and community to participate in the design process. Korakot Aromdee and Decha Archjananun of THINKK Studio will contribute to a conversation about material reuse and craftsmanship, while representatives from TROP, EKAR, HAS design and research and other regional studios will address landscape architecture, cultural memory and contemporary spatial experiences. The programme will also include the TIDA Thesis Awards 2026, recognising emerging interior design talent in Thailand.

The FIND Global Summit 2026 marks an important development for FIND – Design Fair Asia as the event moves to Bangkok for its fifth edition. By connecting architectural practices with manufacturers, developers, hospitality operators and design professionals, the conference aims to encourage collaboration across the region’s expanding creative industries. Bangkok Governor Chadchart Sittipunt is scheduled to officially open the fair on 26 November. The summit will run alongside the design exhibition, with complimentary admission available to pre-registered trade visitors, offering an opportunity to engage with the ideas and professional networks influencing Asia’s architectural future.
