FRAME presents a new chapter in digital craft with a film created entirely through artificial intelligence for the launch of Verpan’s Wire Portable Lamp. The production departs from experimental prototypes and enters the realm of finished commercial work for a heritage design house.
The Wire Lamp, originally designed by Verner Panton in 1972, arrives in portable form with meticulous fidelity to its classic geometry and character. FRAME channels nearly two decades of producing 3D product narratives into this transition, demonstrating how AI can serve complex visual communication without sacrificing precision.
The project demonstrates how contemporary computational tools can handle a task where accuracy is not optional. The Wire Portable Lamp’s form, proportions, materials, and metallic coils demand fidelity familiar to industrial photography.
