The Y-3 GENDO sneakers made their debut on the Yohji Yamamoto runway, boldly exploring the concept of negative space and elevation. The innovative silhouette showcases a fully hollowed hard polymer plate as its core, complemented by a premium leather upper. By bringing elements from adidas’ archive to the forefront, the Y-3 GENDO Superstar combines the futuristic midsole plate with a one-to-one Superstar upper. Meanwhile, the Y-3 GENDO ProModel boasts a high-top Pro Model upper and departs from conventional lacing with an expressive zip closure, taking the concept of sneaker design to new heights.
