Elyse Graham’s Microbe Vessels

Elyse Graham has unveiled a reimagined collection of Microbe Vessels, now available in over 60 stunning new color palettes. This refreshed lineup invites enthusiasts to discover fun new color combinations and enjoy an updated, streamlined shopping experience that allows for easy mixing and matching of base and dot colors.

Inspired by the unique galaxy of microorganisms that inhabit each of us, the Microbe Collection showcases a technique developed by Graham for dyeing and stippling each vase. This technique beautifully mimics the natural growth and colonization patterns of microbes.

Each vase in the collection is meticulously hand-cast using hydrocal plaster, shaped inside a unique balloon mold. The interior is layered with resin, ensuring the vases are waterproof. The exterior of each piece is hand-dyed with custom-mixed pigments and adorned with distinct patterns of dyed plaster protuberances, offering an endless array of color combinations. To ensure longevity, the exterior is sealed with a UV-resistant acrylic coating.
