KOKUZE’s “Get Hype” builds its energy through rhythm and digital texture, giving a UK Garage and Dubstep framework enough movement to keep the track in constant motion. The project comes from Takanari Kobayashi, who has worked under several names before starting KOKUZE in 2024. His work across Bass House and Drum and Bass places “Get Hype” within a wider interest in bass-driven electronic music, while the track’s UK Garage and Dubstep elements give it a different rhythmic vocabulary. The emphasis stays on what the beat can do when digital textures keep changing around it. “Get Hype” sets the rhythm, adds movement, and keeps the energy pointed forward—a kinetic drive that finds an emotional counterpoint in yuki: FEEL IT TONIGHT through melodic dubstep chords and heavy seven-string riffs.
