Matt Maltese´s “Florence” is a deeply emotional song. The voice line transmits a touching imprint enhanced by some violin arrangements. The song starts with a solid drum and over it a clean piano, a synth-wave-like keyboard and a deeply dynamic bass. Every song´s element has its right place, building a solid song structure. Matt says: “This is a pretty old song that Josh [Scarbrow] convinced me to dig up from the grave and put on the album. I quite liked the idea of putting a song on the record that wasn’t written at the same time as everything else.”
